Learn More about Hiring a House Manager
When you need someone to run your entire household, you need a
house manager. An experienced estate manager can handle your schedule,
balance your checkbook, manage the rest of your domestic staff,
and even make your travel arrangements. Basically, a great house
manager can help even the busiest person take care of all the little
details at home.
Find a Qualified, Helpful Estate Manager
Because an estate manager is such a valuable part of the streamlined
running of your household, we take care to recruit only the best,
most qualified candidates for the position. Our strict requirements
include:
- Minimum of one year of private in-home experience
- Superior employer and character references that we must
be able to verify
- Proper legal/visa documentation
- Dependable transportation to and from work
As with our other positions, we also subject all candidates for
estate manager to national and local criminal background checks,
driving record checks, and Social Security verification.
An experienced house manager typically receives a salary between
$35,000 and $60,000 a year, and typically works from 40 to 50 hours
per week. We charge a $250 application fee to begin the search,
and, when the ideal candidate has been placed, we then charge a
one-time fee based on a percentage of the house manager’s
annual salary. We also back all of our placements with a guarantee
that most other agencies can’t compete with.
At Premier Domestic Staffing, our goal is to place the right house
manager with the right family. We will work until all parties are
satisfied that the best placement has been found.
